Einer der schönsten 911er entstand Ende der 60er Jahre mit dem 2.2 S.

Diese Fahrzeuge vereinigten noch den ursprünglichen Charakter der ganz frühen 911 Modelle mit dem verbesserten, aber immer noch aggressiven 2.2 L Triebwerk.
Im Gegensatz zu den späteren 2.4 L Modellen mögen diese 2.2 L Motoren hohe Drehzahlen um Ihre Leistung dynamisch kraftvoll zu entfalten.

Im Modelljahr 1970 wurden nur 729 Exemplare und 1971 nur 788 Fahrzeuge gebaut.

Die Motor Nr. lautet 6301199 die Getriebe Nr. 710 6153, Motor und Getriebe sind „Matching. No.“
Das Fahrzeug wurde für die USA produziert.

Ab 2015 wurde dieses Fahrzeug vollumfänglich für einen Kunden auf der Rohkarosse neu aufgebaut und restauriert.
Dabei wurden auch Motor, Getriebe, Fahrwerk und die gesamte Antriebseinheit komplett überholt.

Auch die Innenausstattung und die originalen Recaro Sitze wurden fachmännisch instandgesetzt, Chrom und Anbauteile wurden erneuert.

Die Gesamtkosten für die Restaurierung lagen bei über € 200.000,-.

Das Fahrzeug wurde auf Kundenwunsch in der Porsche Farbe „Signal Orange“ lackiert. Die Auslieferungsfarbe war „Silber“.

Die Laufleistung seit der Restauration beträgt 931 Kilometer.
