The 964 WTL Lightweight by PS Automobile marks the next milestone in our ST Manufactory: a complete “frame-off” rebuild based on a bare chassis, retaining the 964’s Wide Turbo Look (WTL) – yet featuring a rigorous weight reduction, modern technology, and a spectacular appearance in Viper Green.
Under the hood sits a newly built 3.8-liter 993 Supercup engine with individual throttle bodies, a carbon intake system, and a fully programmable ECU. A custom-made exhaust system, fully adjustable MCS suspension, and 18-inch BBS three-piece wheels transform this classic into a pure, focused driving machine.
In the refined interior, dark brown Alcantara and Bentley leather meet lightweight carbon fiber components – all handcrafted and individually tailored.

Anyone who loves the original “Wide Turbo Look” of the 964 will discover an entirely new dimension with our WTL Lightweight. The foundation is a stripped-down bare chassis—completely stripped of paint, straightened, and finished in high-gloss Viper Green down to the last cavity. Even the interior carries the same flawless finish. In over 1,500 hours of craftsmanship, a car is created that is lighter, sportier, and more luxurious than ever before.
At its heart lies a completely rebuilt 3.8-liter Supercup engine from the 993. Thanks to a fully programmable ECU, a custom-tuned carbon individual throttle body intake system, and a handcrafted stainless steel exhaust with equal-length headers, the air-cooled flat-six delivers its power with the razor-sharp response of a race car. Every throttle input evokes the golden era of motorsport—yet it meets all current emissions and noise regulations without compromise.
To ensure that all this power translates into pure driving pleasure on the road, the engine is mounted in a chassis equipped with a fully adjustable coilover suspension system from MCS. Uniball top mounts provide direct feedback, while a front strut brace reinforces the body structure. Combined with the original 18-inch BBS three-piece wheels and new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, the result is handling that perfectly balances precision and agility.

The original 964 WTL fenders define the car’s distinctive silhouette, while LED headlights and custom-made LED turn signals and taillights provide modern visibility. A sleek, flush-mounted retractable rear spoiler remains perfectly aligned with the body at rest and generates additional downforce at speed. Precision-milled solid aluminum door handles and silver Porsche lettering add subtle yet high-quality finishing touches.
Every single step of the process—from sandblasting the suspension components to coating the titanium wheel bolts and final engine calibration on the test bench—is meticulously documented and compiled in a comprehensive vehicle dossier. This way, the future owner receives not only an unparalleled driving experience but also complete proof of the uncompromising quality with which this 964 WTL Lightweight was built in our ST Manufactory.
